What is the Senior Joy Drive?

The Senior Joy Drive is a community initiative aimed at bringing joy and support to senior citizens in need. Through donations and volunteer efforts, we provide essential resources, companionship, and festive cheer to brighten their lives.

How You Can Help

You can help by donating essential items, such as clothing, non-perishable food, or hygiene products, or by volunteering your time to interact with seniors. Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Help provide warmth and essential care items for our seniors.

Soaps, shampoo, gripper socks, gloves, scarves, handkerchiefs, hand lotion

Nail care, Kleenex packs, wipes, chapstick, toothbrush & toothpaste, denture care

Eyeglass cleaner, combs, brushes, deodorant, knit hats, cozy blankets

Travel pillows, stuffed animals, flameless candles, cologne, and other comfort items

Recreational Items

Bring fun and entertainment to brighten their days!

Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, board games, books, adult coloring books

Bird feeders to place outside their windows

Items will be delivered to 4 area nursing homes the week before Christmas!

About WVPF

The West Virginia Peach Festival, held every August, celebrates the state's rich community spirit with three days of family fun. Enjoy craft vendors, live entertainment, a kids' zone, a car show, and more, all while supporting local nonprofits. Volunteers and sponsors make it all possible, creating a welcoming event for all ages to enjoy and give back.

If you want to enjoy a fun-filled packed weekend of all things peaches, then The West Virginia Peach Festival is for you. You don’t live close by? That’s ok there are nearby hotels that are ready to welcome you and your family. We are so excited about our 2025 West Virginia Peach Festival. We can’t wait to see familiar and new faces.
