Electricity is available if needed. Vendors must provide their own heavy-duty extension cords. Craft vendors are limited to 110V (limited availability)

Food vendors will all have electricity and must use a 50-amp, 220V plug.

Only manufactured items permitted are items like cozy’s with vendor design on product, flags and blow up items. No items for resale through places like Temu, Oriental Traders and like industries. Any such items must be approved by Vendor Committee.

Cottage Vendor: Premade (homemade) packaged foods with ingredients label attached

• No dairy products.

• No foods cut into exposing to the elements

EX.: Candy apples are whole where chocolate covered apple slices are cut and not allowed.

• No items that have been or needs refrigeration. (chocolates are an exception)

If you are dishing out, cooking, pouring, scooping out & filling a container and serving food then you are in the Food Truck category. All food handlers must comply with the WV Health Department and send a copy of your valid permit/certificate. The WV Health Department will stop by and inspect your area.

Fees

All food truck sites will be $225 for the 30' space and WILL incur additional $100 per 10' more (this is for the three-day Festival already)

Non-refundable and non-transferable (applicable to ALL vendors)

Payment must be received with application.  Make check payable to “West Virginia Peach Festival”.  All vendors are responsible for collecting and submitting their own state taxes for WV.

• All food vendors must display a clear list of menu items with pricing and maintain the same prices throughout the entire weekend. Changing prices after the event begins is not allowed. We received reports of a vendor increasing prices unexpectedly, which is unfair to customers. To ensure transparency and a positive experience for all attendees, pricing must remain consistent and visible at all times.

• Each food vendor MUST register with the Mineral County Health Department (304-788-1321) for this Festival.  Each vendor must obtain a Mineral County Health Dept Temporary Food Establishment Permit for this Festival.  If you already hold the permit, you will not be charged for the registration but you MUST still register for this event.  The Health Dept WILL verify your permit during their inspection the morning of the Festival.

• Non-profit organizations are exempt from the fee but MUST attach a copy of your tax-exempt certificate with tax-exempt number to your permit request. Donations to the WV Peach Festival will be gladly accepted.

All food handlers must comply with the WV Health Department and send a copy of your valid permit/certificate. The WV Health Department will stop by and inspect your area. Food trucks also have to have us listed on their insurance.

REMEMBER: YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE HEALTH DEPT AT LEAST 7 to 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE FOR THIS FESTIVAL EVEN IF YOU CURRENTLY HOLD A FOOD PERMIT!

Upon notification of acceptance of application payment must be received to reserve space. Payment online or by check payable to West Virginia Peach Festival

Food and Cottage vendor MUST register with the MCHD 7-10 days prior to the festival.

Food handlers must have an up to date permit to attend. The Health dept will do an inspection and verify your permit prior to the start of the festival.
